Almond Crusted Tilapia
- Mix Together:
- ¼ c. bread crums
- 2 Tbls. brown sugar
- ½ tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 c. finely chopped almonds (use food processor)
- ½ tsp. salt
- Then:
- 1 ½ lbs. Tilapia - sliced down the center
- 1 egg - beaten in separate bowl for dipping
- ¼ c. flour in separate dish for coating
- Baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray
Coat Tilapia with flour, then dip in egg, coat generously with almond mixture and then place on the baking sheet. Bake fish in oven set at 425° for about 15 minutes or until done.
